Ok so if you’re a mom car seats are just like a fact of life, and sometimes they can be super confusing, especially if you are super type-a and like to have everything perfectly (especially when it comes to the safety of your child) just like me.
AND, let me tell you how delighted I was after I got this carseat unboxed and into the car.
So here’s what happened…
→ daughter just sized out of her little infant car seat
→ wanted a bigger one that would last, and heard great things about the Graco 4Ever
→ super clear directions about leveling (bubble)
→ easy to move from car to car (we actually got two, one for each car)
→ EVEN GIVE SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS THAT I HAD NEVER HEARD BEFORE ABOUT HOW TO PROPERLY BUCKLE AND TRUST ME, I THOUGHT I WAS 100% DOING IT RIGHT
→ then we got into a car accident
→ after learning the right way to buckle from Graco, I was always on EVERYONE about it, like I was just before this accident (I always told them, it’s not you I don’t trust, it’s other drivers)
→ this carseat had the highest backwards facing limits I could find (40 lbs)
→ she was facing backwards, wasn’t verbal yet, took her to hospital, did x-ray and she checked out, they said the only thing for her was potentially a bruise
→ literally WHILE WE WERE IN THE HOSPITAL, I SENT MY PARENTS OUT TO GET A NEW CAR SEAT FROM TARGET OF THE EXACT SAME BRAND AND TYPE TO A T (but it was a newer version)
→ super easy to install and I just have so much more gratitude, and appreciation for this company and this carseat now, and I am just so grateful to know that she will be safe as this car seat grows with her
Graco did such an incredible job and I’m gonna break it down, but the one thing that could have made it easier, would just be videos, and someone talking through and demonstrating the manual.
