How this company made me feel like an expert when I was a newbie

Ok, I know we’ve all been ranting and raving about DryBar. I’ve had a blowout there, I’ve purchased their tools and hair products, I just love what it’s all about.
So let me take you back to when I first invested with the company and got a straightener to curl my hair, because it was my first step to learning to take care of my hair like at all.
I have very fine and thin hair, all I used to do was straighten it without any heat protectant which is probably why the ends were so dead and my hair never seemed to grow…
AND, let me tell you how excited I was after I received the straightener pack.
So here’s what happened…
The pack finally arrived in the mail and it was beautiful, their branding was so on-point.
But what I really loved was that in the box their was this card, like postcard size, with a url on it that brought up the founder, Ali Webb, in a video literally walking me through all the steps to achieve the look I wanted with that exact tool!
It took some time, but it wasn’t long until felt like a pro after several. Several attempts had me going back to the video a few times to really master it.
HOWEVER, it was a pack
→ don’t know how best to utilize the rest of those products
→ the next step essentially would be to show my the value of those, and get me obsessed with them, coming back for more and more
Don’t leave me hanging looking somewhere else, because I have (go back and listen to episode 11 to see how poorly that turned out for me)
DryBar, you are incredible, and yet I know you can still do such better work than this.
