Why this email marketing platform almost lost my business during the TRAIL period!

Ok, I know we’ve all been ranting and raving this new beautiful email marketing platform that is Flodesk, I actually got to meet & talk to the founders of this platform way back in the day when they were still probably a year out from announcing their launch, so personally I feel very connected to their brand and purpose even though I didn’t make the switch over to their platform until recently.

BUT, let me tell you how disappointed I was after I started my trial.

So here’s what happened…

Tired of my old platform that was just doing the basic, which I had started on way back when I first started my online business, like 3 years ago, so it had a LOT of old freebie and segments, etc. and I really wanted a fresh start

And Flodesk (affiliate link)  just felt very much in alignment with where I was at and what I was looking for.

So I jumped onboard with a trial, and then….

It was a bit frustrating.

One of the key selling points and unique features is the design elements, but there isn’t like an instructional video or tutorial or anything…

So unless you are going off of a pre-made template (which to their credit, there are a lot of) you are kind of stuck figuring out the details and messing with it yourself.

I really like customization, and having something that fits me and my brand perfectly, so the unique design features were a big selling point, but only if they can actually be used and implemented easily.


Flodesk, I know you can do such better work than this.

All you have to do is this…

→ Create tutorials where you like walk through the unique design features & how I can easily use them (like teach me how to make a template I can just do quick edits to each time)


Here’s what’s missing from the Client Delight™ Framework.

→ My next step (immediately valuable)

Once they have all 8 pieces in place, they’ll be good to go.

→ I want you to take a minute right now, and think about what’s your biggest selling point. Now ask yourself if you are doing enough to me it easy for your clients to actually implement and use it.

If you’re a coach and you have video trainings, is it easy for your clients to find that video again, can they easily access and use any worksheets that go along with it?

If you’re a consultant do set up your sessions in a way that your clients can easily see progress and have focused implementation?

What is it that clients just love about you, and how can you magnify that and make it that much more accessible, without adding more work to your plate.

Because seriously, Flodesk could record this one training, just one time and create this incredible nurturing process that creates happy, loyal customers & raving fans. And I have no idea why they aren’t doing it.
